Cure Your Acne with the Right Diet

Most people will probably suffer from acne at some point in their lives and might find themselves trying home remedies for acne as a last resort. Others just prefer a more natural approach to getting rid of this red swollen inconvenience. Instead of relying on products that contain so many chemicals, home remedies is a cheap but yet effective way of doing away with acne.
Drinking sufficient water, eating the right vitamins and doing ample exercise is the greatest home remedy that helps acne. These will purify the body and give the skin a glow. Although these techniques take longer to work, they keep the face clearer for a longer time. For a remedy that works quicker, simple treatments can be used to decrease the possibility of an acne attack. The ingredients of these cures come from your kitchen cupboards.
The most well known home cure for acne is toothpaste. Once you see a spot, put toothpaste on it to prevent it from puffing up. Toothpaste also helps dehydrate the pimple. Do not press the pimple before you apply the toothpaste. You will be left with a mark on your face.
Besides toothpaste, fresh mint applied to the spotted skin is also great. Combining mint with turmeric powder can increase the healing of the pimple. The pimple will become smaller as soon as applied. To avoid yellow stained skin wash the mixture off after a few minutes.
Lemon juice is also ranked high by some as an acne cure. Lemon is a great ingredient for drying out pimples. It will also lighten dark blemishes coming from these zits. Due to lemons drying effect, your skin stand the risk of being dried out completely. Your skin could be left tough and stiff. Apply a light moisturizer to the skin to make sure this does not happen.
You could use vinegar and salt to cure acne, and it is all found in your pantry. Blended together, they are not only nice for cooking, but you will find that placing them on zits is just as useful. An amazing use of salt is for healing. Wash the vinegar off after some time because it is a very strong ingredient.
Using cucumber daily on the face is also great for curing acne. Cucumber has a lot of water in it and is really refreshing. Mash the cucumber up and spread on the face generously. This might be best to prevent an acne attack, but if you do have some pimples already, don’t hesitate to use it. Garlic can also be an awesome cure of acne. Although it has a strong smell, garlic helps pimples disappear. The fresh garlic needs to be crushed finely and put on each spot. It need not be placed on the entire face.
So to prevent forking out a lot of money on products that may or may not work, doing it yourself at home works better and is all natural.
