Green tea and body cleansing

Many people are now turning to inexpensive and natural green tea weight loss plans to help them in their weight control efforts. It is simple too. Green tea can be drunk like any other tea, usually without milk or sweeteners, or if you do not like the taste you can purchase green tea extract.

Reducing your weight by drinking green tea is a very safe and healthy way to trimming down. Forget about all those dangerous diet pills such as ephedra, which have the same thermogenesis properties, but have dangerous side affects. Many of the compounds in the plants have the thermogenesis proterties that help you get more energy and burn fat.

Green tea does not put pressure on the heart so is very safe for many of the overweight people who have or at the risk of developing hypertension and other cardiovascular problems. If you are in this unsafe group then using diet pills, especially those that contain ephedra are not an option. Drinking green tea and exercising at a moderate level will trim your waist line. Body cleansing is another option.

There are many ways to lose weight. The only real way to lose weight is by consuming less calories and by exercising more. With the use of green tea along with a sensible eating plan and exercise one can increase there energy output by aproximately 4%. It is said that catechin found in green tea is the factor that increases this energy output.

Green tea is a powerful antioxidant. Antioxidants have been proven to fight free radicals that fight against our immune system. By improving our immune system which happens with the regular use of green tea, will assist out bodies in protecting ourselves from diseases.

Keep in mind that green tea does contain caffeine so you should cut out coffee and other forms of tea while you are taking it. Decaffeinated green tea is not recommended because the chemical processes that are used to remove the caffeine may destroy the beneficial properties of the plant.

At the same time you will need to exercise control in what you eat. If you eat more to compensate for the calories that are burnt by the tea, you will not lose any weight. Keeping to the same calorific intake that you have now and taking green tea should result in gradual weight loss and better energy levels over a few weeks. You can of course increase the speed of this by reducing calorie consumption and/or increasing exercise.

Since green tea is accepted by everyone as a natural and safe food with added benefits of antioxidants and proven assist in weight maintenance or control. It can cheaply and easily be added to any weightloss program and can be taken in a variety of forms, such as tea, extract or tablets. The great benefit is it is inexpensive and easily to obtain.
