Cosmetic facelift surgery is a huge business in our culture today. We are obsessed with appearing beautiful and young. Some say that a nice, good looking face is a like a good introduction to a letter, if the introduction is pleasant, more people will be interested. This could be why so many people turn to cosmetic facelift surgery.

Cosmetic facelift surgery (also called Rhytidectomy) is intended to help remove the signs of aging in both the neck and face. Specifically sagging and creases get smoothed, fatty deposits are removed (like jowls), double chins get tucked, eyelids may be tightened, and so forth.

A facelift won’t change your appearance like reconstructive surgery would and it wont stop the aging process, but can help refresh your appearance by making you look less tired and sad. If you have other expectations from a cosmetic facelift surgery, you should consult with your surgeon to make sure you both understand what to expect.

All surgery has some risks and you should be aware of them before hand. Scarring, infections, nerve damage, and swelling are possible side effects of a face lift. Also, un-symmetrical facial features are possible.

Cosmetic Facelift Costs: These costs vary from $6000 – $17,000 depending on the extent of your surgery, doctor fees, and location. Some people also include other procedures like a nose job or breast augmentation so they only have to under anesthesia once for multiple procedures.

Alternative to Face Lift: If you are looking for a more safer, less costly alternative to look younger and to lift your facial features. There is an excellent way you can take control of your aging face at home for almost no money at all….by performing Face Exercises. Click on the following to see a Free Video for Crow’s Feet

Just like the muscles of the body, the face benefits from daily workouts. Studies have proven that those who exercise the facial muscles daily look younger and more rested than those who do not.

Face Exercises are a completely natural approach that improves the amount of oxygen and nutrients you skin cells receive. Over time facial exercises improve your complexion, skin color, and skin moisture. It also irons away wrinkles, leaving a younger looking you. In other words, its an excellent alternative to a cosmetic surgery facelift thats easy to do, no where near as costly, and much safer.

  1. Hey Linda,

Facelift surgeries are very costlier and you have mentioned the right prices, and not many people can afford that. Fir celebrities it goes fine, but for the common people its far way beyond being costly.

On the other hand, the exercises shown in video are really simple and anyone can perform them. And it make no sense that when you can avoid aging effect by simple exercises then why to spend so much money on it later on.

I’ve never heard of such procedures, but anything that mitigates surgical enhancement of your body is typically a better bet.
