Everyone wonders how all those Hollywood celebrities diet and maintain their weight. Sometimes they do look good for the camera. However there are many times they look sickly and ill. No matter how they brand their name. Starvation is starvation, no matter what kind of becoming face you may apply to it.

You see it in all the tabloids, this person lost 100 pounds again, this one gained 100 pounds, and then lost 150 pounds. Some are not as dramatic; this one lost 40 pounds and is a television spokesperson, because the previous celebrity diet spokesperson gained the weight back. The fact is they may be starving themselves to lose weight, fasting like they are going through a famine.

Losing a lot of weight in a short period of time might be normal for somebody who is very overweight because they are carrying a lot of stored fat around with them. On the other hand, for somebody who is just one or two dress sizes over their preferred weight, losing so much weight in so little time is very unhealthy and can lead to serious health problems. Successful dieting takes time and you are not going to go from overweight to slim overnight. You did not gain all that weight overnight so you will not shift it in such a short time frame either.

Besides the fact that even if you do lose a lot of weight in such a short time, you will not be able to maintain it, unless you are committed to a maintenance program. Proper dieting involves certain skill as well as a strong sense of will power. Many of those Hollywood or Celebrity diets are actually very unhealthy for your body. Is it worth it to diet like a celebrity, just to make you unhealthy?

Hollywood juice diet is the only thing you drink for a few days, no other essential nutrients or water. The weight comes off because you are starving, like being in a famine, but once you stop the juice diet and start eating regularly again, the weight will come back. If you only drink a juice diet without food, your body is going to suck up any food it gets and store it for later, in case you encounter another famine.

Like with a lot of popular Hollywood diets, when your body feels like it is being starved, it will rebel. Your body will fight to hold on to its fat stores, thinking there is a food shortage. You need a long term diet rather than a faddy Hollywood diet if you want to reach and maintain your target weight.

The biggest secret of the best celebrity diets is that these celebrities do not really have a secret when it comes to dieting. They are just normal people just like the rest of us. Only we do not have all the extra individuals working for us to make us look so appealing. Celebrities hire others to help them lose weight or get some kind of kick back for advertising a particular product, which includes any number of quick weight loss programs.

Celebrity diets involve a level of commitment and dedication which we struggle with. The best celebrity diets involve eating sensibly and limiting our calorie intake. One great diet which has been proven to work for many people is Fat Loss 4 Idiots at the link below. This is an easy to follow diet which might just work for you.

How would you like to be skinny and stay skinny? How many times have you been on a diet only for the weight to come back again? It’s not much fun, is it? So, what’s the secret of how to get skinny and stay skinny?

What most people do when they want to get skinny is to go on a diet. Usually they are influenced by the latest fad diet. Low carb, low calorie, GI, the list is endless. Eventually they decide which one they are going to go with and because they have taken the decision, they put their complete trust in the diet of their choice.

Diets make it look so easy, don’t they? All your weight is just going to disappear and you don’t have to do a thing, just put your hand in your pocket and shell out the dollars. Nothing could be more simple. Which one do you trust – because at the end of the day it’s all about trust?

It’s true that diets will help you lose weight, but there is a very heavy price to pay. That price is the fact that after having finished your diet, the weight you have just spent time and money losing, will come back again. It’s a depressing thought, isn’t it? The problem is that diets deliver short-term weight loss: nothing wrong with that except who wants short-term weight loss? Why would anybody in their right mind be happy for the weight to come back again? Nobody!

The thing about losing weight and getting skinny is that you have got to want to make it happen. If your resolve is weak, than it won’t be successful. The other thing is that successful long-term weight loss only comes when you make change.

If you want to make change, the best way is to learn new habits, slim habits. By learning new habits you can change your behavior and achieve permanent weight loss. It’s not difficult to do and the rewards for making change are huge. It will enable you to say goodbye to diets forever…what could be better than that?
