Enjoying The Natural Health Care Infrared Sauna Therapy Brings

These days, more and more people are discovering the natural health care infrared sauna therapy can deliver. And why not, if both medical researches and claims of people who have tried it are convincing enough? Perhaps you are familiar with traditional saunas, and have tried them yourself. But if you haven’t tried this other form of sauna, read on.

First let us tackle the difference between a traditional and infrared sauna. This will pave the way for further understanding the advantages you can get from the latter. Basically, their main difference has something to do with heat source.

Traditional saunas, as you may already know, is a small room that is heated. Many health clubs and gyms offer such service to their patrons. The source of the heat, a heater, sits somewhere in the room. Depending on kind of traditional sauna, it may be powered by electricity, wood or any other source of energy.

An infrared sauna, on the other hand, uses lamps. And as its very name suggests, these lamps give off infrared light as the main source of heat. Some may emit near infrared, middle infrared or far infrared – all depending on the technology used. In a way, it’s basically like harnessing the same energy source as sunlight.

The very first thing people will notice about infrared saunas is that the rooms are cooler than those of traditional ones. But don’t let it fool you: you will still experience profuse sweating. Again, this is because of the heat source used. It doesn’t do much to heat the room, but it deeply penetrates your skin. So you are heated from inside out.

It’s evident there are many sauna benefits to the body. But because of the way your body is heated up in infrared saunas, all these benefits are magnified. What you will be experiencing from multiple traditional sauna sessions may be obtained with just a few infrared sauna sessions.

Now let us move on to the many benefits this technology brings. The sweating process helps eliminate accumulated toxins in the body. Although the liver and kidneys also eliminate these toxins, the skin as the largest organ of the body also does the same. Infrared saunas also help the skin recover from damage caused by the years of exposure to the sun and harsh substances.

Blood circulation is greatly improved. As a result, oxygen and nutrient rich blood is able to reach more areas of the body. Especially on parts where they are needed the most. Because of this, healing of various health problems is promoted. For instance, minor joint injuries can recover faster as they are now supplied by the blood with all fresh oxygen and nutrients needed.

For those who are trying to lose or maintain weight, this may come very favorable to them. Plus they sweat more without having to expend as much energy as working out. All they need to do is just sit down for a few minutes. Also, some researches indicate that it helps with cellulite problems.

Since it does not involve extreme heat, many people find it more relaxing than traditional saunas. That’s why you get the most out of the stress-relieving and rejuvenating effects of saunas. All the natural health care infrared sauna therapy can give you doesn’t end there. It helps with skin diseases, regulates blood pressure, improves air way clearance, and many more. That’s why more and more people are switching to this alternative form of sauna.

For the past 40 years, studies demonstrate that infrared sauna benefits can alleviate many health issues, including back pain and detoxification. The top sauna retailer in the industry offers a variety of products with infrared heat therapy, all with the guarantee to immerse you in complete relaxation.

You might already be dying to know what the best way to diet is ” well, if you would ask different people, youll learn that they have different answers to this. A young male, for instance, would tell you that the best way to diet is one that includes strength training and plenty of exercise, while a young lady would tell you that its one that includes mild exercise and being careful on what you eat.

There could be a lot of opinions as to the best way to diet, but if you look hard enough, youll see that most dieters share one common idea ” the best way to diet should include fun in it. It should let them lose a sensible amount of weight without having to cut back on so many pleasurable things in life.

Now dieters everywhere would really have something to smile about ” diets can be both fun and effective. Just so you know, you really dont have to do every example given here ” if you happen to come across an approach in dieting that you think is fun and help you continue to lose weight, then you should definitely go for it. After all, the best way to diet should be one that suits you.

When switching to lower-calorie food alternatives, you don’t have to go all the way down.

Why is it so hard for some to stick to one type of diet? Its because some dieters do crash-diets to lose weight. Whats a crash-diet? Crash-diet is basically what most people do to lose weight quickly. Some just couldnt bear to see their unwanted figures on the mirror ” so, they eat less than usual or practically starve themselves since they think itll help lose all the weight. Its a quick solution since you only have to do it for a few days, afterwards you could return to your normal meals.

Some people crash-diet by switching their usual burger-and-fries with a cold salad. Is it any wonder why crash diets aren’t the best diets out there? Nobody can survive with such a big switch, done so suddenly, for very long. It doesn’t have to be that way! Switch soda with fruit juice instead of water, and you’ll still save at least 50 calories per drink. Take a twinkie in place of a candy bar, and you’ll save 80. A submarine sandwich for a pizza serving, 160. While these alternatives aren’t as effective weight reducers than veggie sticks, they’re definitely tastier, and they’ll help you stick to your diet easier.

You dont have to mimic what everyone is doing when you exercise.

An adequate amount of regular and rigorous exercise has always been included in the best ways to diet. But its also unreasonable to let yourself go through strenuous exercises that you dont find a bit enjoyable. You have to remember that you should choose a kind of exercise that youll enjoy. Some people find themselves doing swimming. Others would prefer to do biking. Others would prefer to do brisk walking. Whatever you choose, make sure its something youll look forward to doing each time. The best ways to diet are meant to be enjoyed.

Diet and exercise with your friends.

Having diet and exercise buddies are always a good thing because youll find yourself doing more. Most people share the same view that doing things in a cheerful group is the best way to diet! Also, you could always check on each others improvement and provide encouragement so that youll perform even better the next time around. After a week of hard work, you have the right to treat yourself to a celebration together with the people who were with you through the whole experience.

There are many other great ways to diet out there ” all you need to do is to look for those that suit your schedule, personality, and lifestyle. You don’t have to follow the latest trends in dieting to get into shape ” if it’s not something you’re willing to do the rest of your life, why do it at all?

Bull Juice: Not your Cup of Coffee

April 13, 2009 by Dr. Frederik Gupta

Most energy drinks contain Taurine. Why? Because Red Bull, maybe on a hunch, added Taurine to their drink 20 years ago and no one ever asked why. That’s why. It amazes me that over 7 billion cans of energy drinks are consumed every year (one for every human being!) despite the fact that they contain several highly questionable ingredients. Us humans definitely travel in herds!

Several studies indicate that taurine and caffeine together are a highly toxic mix (see Taurine and Caffeine). So taurine in energy drinks apparently is not only useless, several studies seem to indicate that it is actually damaging for your health, especially when it is synthetic (see Heart Problems with Synthetic Taurine).

Taurine is banned from the supermarket shelves in France, Denmark and Sweden, and other countries such as Australia and Canada are putting together regulation initiatives.

I drink energy drinks when I need to stay awake late and during long days of work. They’re great when I need to drive back home after a long day of work. They’re a great addition to my everyday diet.

The problem with most energy drinks is that, for marketing purposes, they include all kinds of other unnecessary and sometimes dangerous ingredients (artificial sweeteners, High Fructose, artificial vitamins). This increases the likelihood that at some time in the future, some health issues will develop. One could argue that many drugs currently being reviewed by the FDA also have potentially overwhelming side-effects. This is why the FDA reviews and rejects drugs where the negatives outweigh the postives. The FDA does not review energy drinks.

So is there another choice? Coffee on its own is not a bad alternative as it doesn’t come with all the artificial ingredients found in the Red Bulls and other products. Then there are some natural energy drinks which basically contain a stimulant (coffee, guarana or tea) plus a minimum of other ingredients. I recommend Guyaki Yerba Matte, GURU Energy Drink, and Sambason Energy. In the case of GURU and Sambason, they also have gone the extra step of making them with entirely organic ingredients.

Its encouraging to see that more and more mainstream youth are saying no to the chemical cocktails that have mushroomed onto our shelves of late. Rap superstar Kanye West recently annouced he was working on developing a low-calorie organic and natural product with GURU Energy Drinks. This should teach us that younger can sometimes mean much smarter.

Cranberries are quite popular especially in the field of health care. The reason for this popularity is because cranberries offer a wide range of benefits to people who frequently drink their juice. Cranberries are typically a type of low growing vine that is deep red in color. Although this fruit is small, it sure is very big in providing health benefits. Believe or not, a small cranberry can prevent a lot of serious diseases.

One function of cranberry juice is to prevent gums from acquiring infection. Usually, children are mostly affected with oral infections because they tend to put in their mouth anything they see. These objects may contain certain bacteria that are responsible for the buildup of oral cavities resulting in toothache if addressed too late. For people who do not like to experience such terrible problems, it is advisable to drink cranberry juice every day.

Women can greatly benefit from drinking cranberry juice because it also helps in improving skin health. Free radicals from the body that contribute to aging are eliminated by the cranberry juice, thus it enhances cell regeneration to help a woman maintain younger and healthy looking skin. This rejuvenating effect happens because cellulite is reduced by drinking cranberry juice.

Initially, cranberry juice is only known to remedy urinary tract infections. The effects of cranberry juice are very beneficial to patients with urinary tract infections because its acidic property helps in eliminating certain bacteria that thrives in the urethra. Doctors often inform their patients to drink cranberry juice to relieve the symptoms of urinary tract infections. Painful urination is the most common symptom associated with urinary tract infections. Sometimes, this symptom is also accompanied with fever and abdominal pains.

The beneficial effects of cranberry juice are also evident in terms of kidney and bladder functions. People who are often or regularly drinking cranberry juice can prevent having kidney and bladder infections because bacteria are eliminated even before they could cause serious harm to a person.

The healthy benefits acquired from drinking cranberry juice do not stop at preventing bacterial growth. Food researchers have found out that cranberries have anti-oxidant properties that are responsible for preventing cancer. The content is known to be a type of a photochemical that also brings positive effects to the cardiovascular system. This happens because fat deposits in the vessels are emulsified by the acidic property of cranberry juice. These fat deposits are the plaques or atheromas that cause impeding circulation leading to heart disease.

Vitamin C is necessary to boost the immune system. Cranberry juice contains certain amounts of Vitamin C that can prevent the incidence of respiratory ailments such as cough and colds, especially among children and elders. Doctors often suggest that one to three glasses of cranberry juice per day are enough to prevent certain diseases. Children are also advised to drink this juice during meal time.

It is truly beneficial to drink cranberry juice. With all of the benefits that it provides, an individual who would want to live a healthier and longer life should definitely drink cranberry juice every day. However, this fruit juice should be fresh and not commercially prepared because it may already contain preservatives.
