Are you looking at your hair in the mirror and just wishing you could grow long hair fast? Are you tired of the trim, cut, grow, cut cycle?

If you want your hair to grow at remarkable lengths it requires perseverance. You can accomplish this! The ten most used tips are listed below.

1. You must start by taking good care of your hair. Then go to a salon and have your hair clipped an inch. Know your hair will grow at great lengths.

2. Make sure your hair is protected on a daily basis. You should style your hair in updo’s such as buns or French rolls this will not allow the air to damage your hair.

3. Eliminate any and all types of heat. Put away the curling iron. Hide the flat iron. Put the blow dryer in the back of the closet. They will not help you reach your goal.

4. You will need to keep your ends moist. This should be done every day. Really good ways to achieve this is to use Jojoba oils and leave-in conditioners.

5. By using a very good conditioner bi-weekly and using another good moisturizer once in a month you will keep your hair looking healthy.

6. Treat your hair like super fine lace! Be gentle and take your time when combing, detangling, and styling.

7. Style your hair and then leave it alone for the day. Avoid playing with it or messing with it too much. If you constantly fuss with your hair you will end up making it dry which causes split ends.

8. Wear a protective satin or silk scarf when you go to bed at night. If you don’t do either of those, then sleep on a satin pillowcase. Such a scarf will keep your from getting knots, tangles and dryness.

9. Make sure you’re getting all of the proper nutrition by eating lots of vegetables and getting protein. Take a multi-vitamin to make sure you’re getting all of the vitamins you need.

10. Products that moisturize are the only ones that should be used on hair. Brands such as Keracare, Nexxus and Neutrogena can really give you the moisture you need to keep your hair growing strong and long.

11. Mira hair oil is one good herbal oil you should use to grow hair fast

Secrets of Glitch Free Layered Haircuts For Women

I’ll admit I’m biased towards layered cuts. But for sure it doesn’t take much of a crystal ball to claim layered haircuts for women aren’t apt to go away any time soon. Especially when there are three good reasons which account for their popularity.

One, the layered haircut suits various face shapes.

Two, layers add volume to your tresses while giving them extra bounce. Leaving you with a classy and trendy look that’s hard to beat.

Three is all the styling options you’ve got with layered hair. Which is true whether you’ve got naturally curly, wavy or straight hair.

Yet I feel an easily overlooked advantage is how layers can change the appearance of your face. Let’s quickly look at but one example of how that works.

Those with round faces might be better off with long layers for instance. Taking this approach you’ll find narrows your face in most flattering way.

Still, whether or not this is appropriate with your face shape can be discussed with your hair dresser. But for most it can make a huge difference.

Then too, you often have choices in terms of how many layers are cut where. Each changes the look of the style. Sometimes dramatically. Letting you try out different hairstyles to see which gives you the most glamorous new you.

For instance if you have long hair you could go with a layered haircut that has a few layers limited to only the last three or four inches of hair. So you could just have a flip cut at the level of the shoulders and the rest of the hair in one length. If you don’t care for the flips you could get side swept bangs.

Don’t forget that all textures and types of hair benefit from layers being added. Also layering works extremely well with wavy hair, looks good with straight hair and helps naturally curly hair to stay in line. With fine hair layers create the illusion of fullness and added volume.

Obviously there’s nothing to stop you from playing with color too while you are at it too. Because highlights look great with layered hair. Taking it a step further you could change your color completely. Changing to a darker base color followed by lighter steaks on top of that. And image what that would do for your appearance.

Yes I’m a layered hair enthusiast. But can you blame me? So why not change your look into something layered? As a women it’s your prerogative to change your mind. Why not change your hair too?

Making Your New Hair Color Look Vibrant Longer

Sure coloring your hair sounds fun, appealing and sexy. Must be as so many of us take to this as a easy way to change our look. But it’s not all fun and games. Because after the coloring comes the chore of maintaining your new found hue.

The colors you choose affect how much of that you’ll be stuck with. The further from your natural color you stray the more maintenance you can expect your hair will demand.

Any such maintenance begins with the final step of the coloring process. I’m talking about the conditioning. You won’t want to skip that step. Since some of the conditioning products supplied will not only bake in the color but this is also your first opportunity to apply hair care first aid that will keep your hair from becoming dry and brittle.

Another concern is fading. And the truth is your stunning new brunette shade will fade and in some cases all too fast. That is unless you do all you can to keep that from happening.

First it’s best not to shampoo for at least 24 hours after coloring to give the dye time to set in. And from there only wash your hair every couple two three days.

Here’s a second bit of advice picked up from the salon which can help slow fading. That is you want to use only shampoo designed specifically for hair that has been color treated. These help seal the hair shaft and keep the color locked in.

You can also extend the life of your new color by using color depositing conditioner. Depositing a hint of tint to your hair a couple times a weeks can prolong the life of any color treatment.

Another approach is to use a product that will seal the cuticle. Again this keeps the pigment from leaching out if you would. Helping your hair hold on to the new shade longer.

Avoid products that add volume as some can strip the color.

Keeping the sun away with a hat will help as well.

You may also be worried about the roots. And you absolutely want to contain any touch up you do to the roots. If not your newly minted blonde hair can turn straw-like in no time.

One technique is to apply the hair color touch up kit contents to the section of the roots closest to your head. Softly blending the product outward from there. Doing so avoids damaging the already-colored hair.

There are touch up kits you can apply to the roots that camouflage them in 10 minutes or less. Some are even designed to mimic how the color fades to better match the rest of your locks.

What can you do to hide the roots, gray or not, if you are unable to get to them right away? Try a messier or curlier style until you can.

Look. To think you can but a stop to fading is not realistic. As the weeks pass all shades, even those from permanent dyes, will lose their luster to some degree. Yet you really can reduce the fade if you follow tips like these.

We often refer to our hair as our crowning glory, and we spend a lot of time and effort to maintain its natural body, shine, smoothness, and color. But people say merely shampooing it is not enough – quite true.

One of the leading brands when it comes to luxury hair care products is Alterna Professional Haircare. It has created groundbreaking formulas that have set the industry standard in hair care like enzymetherapy – the science of skincare for hair. It has also repeatedly stayed ahead of the others through keeping up with technology and innovation, and by introducing revolutionary “firsts”. Alterna was the first hair care company to launch a collection of luxury hair care products in uniquely shaped bottles with rich and vibrant colors. It was also the first to use drug free hemp seed oil in its products, one of the most beneficial yet difficult ingredients to acquire.

The name Alterna has also been associated with innovation. The company has introduced advanced concepts such as enzymetherapy, color hold, age-control complex, nutrozyme complex, straight line complex, and the science of ten. Enzymetherapy is a technology present in every Alterna product that assists in the effective delivery of essential ingredients through providing enzymes required to help transform ingredients into a structure that can be easily absorbed. Color hold works with photozyme complex that provides the highest level of color protection. Their age-control complex incorporates three key ingredients (caviar extract – a rich source of Omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin C – a proven anti-oxidant, and cytokines that encourage microcirculation) that halt the visible signs of aging, resulting in more youthful-looking hair.

Nutrozyme complex addresses all of the primary factors responsible for hair loss. Their elasto complex formulated with moringa seed microproteins fortifies weakened sections of curls through supplying binding proteins to areas most prone to damage, resulting to stronger hair with improved elasticity. Their straight line complex is based on technology that delivers conditioning agents, radiance, and protection to hair. In 2006, Alterna introduced its “The Science of TEN” that combines the ten key elements from around the world that transforms ordinary hair to extraordinary hair.

Alterna offers 5 product lines to its customers: HEMP, CAVIAR, LIFE, LUXURY, and TEN. Their HEMP formulations are infused with certified organic botanicals that strengthen hair and supplement it with the needed nutrients to prevent damage before it happens. Caviar Anti-Aging is a complete line of products that addresses hair and skin that has been damaged by daily stress, environmental factors, chemical services, and premature aging. Their LIFE solutions brings together the strengths of eastern extracts with innovative technologies to successfully nourish hair that has specialized needs so it can be at its best. Alterna also lets its customers experience extravagance through its Luxury line that is formulated with white truffle extracts, one of the world’s richest sources of B vitamins. And inspired by enzymetherapy, TEN sets new standards in the field of advanced formulation and product performance.

Indeed, Alterna has taken imaginative leaps to give its customers the best in hair care, including those that they think what their customers want and those that their customers have never thought possible.
