10 Easy Ways To Put Your Kids On A Healthy Diet

January 23, 2010 by Megan Hillard

Do not think it is a daunting task to make your home healthy

Building a home which is healthy in the nutritional sense is the initial phase to securing the health of your children. You need to set the example by making intelligent food choices. This in turn will teach your children how to eat healthy.

Here are the top 10 tips for getting children to eat healthy food:

1. Never restrict food from your children. Doing so actually increases your children’s risk of developing eating disorders later in life, such as bulimia and anorexia. Also, food restriction tends to hinder growth and development, as well as leading to bing eating later in the day. Bing eating leads to weight gain.

2. Have healthy food in your home. Your kids will eat what is visible to them. Use this to your advantage. For instance, keep apples, oranges, bananas and pears in a bowl on the counter, not a drawer in the fridge. Also limit the empty calorie foods which you keep on hand. Doing this will teach your children how to select a healthier diet.

3. Don’t label foods as “good” or “bad.” Instead, tie foods to the things your child cares about, such as sports, academics and hobbies. Let your child know that lean protein such as turkey and calcium in dairy products give strength to their sports and academic performance, the antioxidants in fruits and vegetables add luster to skin and hair and the carbs in whole grains will give them energy to play.

4. Praise healthy choices. Give your children a proud smile and tell them how smart they are when they choose healthy foods. Kids thrive on positive reinforcement!

5. Try not to get down on your children for unhealthy choices. If it is not a frequent occurrence, let it slide. Conversely, if your children are always choosing to eat unhealthy foods, then you need to steer their choices in the right direction. Replace candy with dried fruit. Instead of fries, try roasting potato sticks with a little bit of olive oil in the oven. Eventually, your children’s eating habits will change for the good.

6. Never use food as a reward. This could create weight problems in later life. Instead, reward your children with something physical and fun — perhaps a trip to the park or a quick game of catch.

7. Make sure that you sit down and eat dinner as a family. This should become customary in your home if it is not already. The truth is that children who eat their dinner at the table with their parents not only eat more healthy, but are far less likely to get into trouble as teenagers.

8. Prepare plates in the kitchen. There you can put healthy portions of each item on everyone’s dinner plate. Your children will learn to recognize correct portion sizes. Too often people go for seconds and even thirds just because the food is right there. You might notice that you need less food to feel full!

9. It is okay to give your child a choice in what they like to eat, and what they do not like to eat. However, when they like something healthy, take full advantage. Serve healthy foods which your children enjoy more frequently, and offer them the foods which they dislike less frequently. This gives your children a voice in deciding what they eat.

10. Consultation with a pediatrician prior to changing your child’s diet is recommended, if possible. If your child does need to change their weight, then make sure that you consult the proper literary resources to receive the help that you need.

Losing Weight Using The Power of Hypnosis

By the thousands of products ” bad or good ” you see marketed as solutions, losing weight is difficult. But they are all variations on a theme: Trying to avoid the work necessary to change lifestyle. Healthy weight loss is really pretty simple. Diet, exercise, and discipline will make you proud to look in a mirror, warmed by looks from others, and energized to enjoy life.

Diet plans, drugs, personal trainers, equipment that ends up on the curb 6 months later, or at best, as a classified ad.

I get pretty confused. Bet you do to. When you Google weight loss the incredible array of products that you get are mind boggling. A lot, if not most, are pretty phony. And the information you get is usually conflicting. Too my fat and protein, too many carbs, not enough vegetable. ab reducers, meal plans, equipment, on and on…. It changes constantly because some new affiliate or ebook comes out and fights for your dollars.

No one disagrees that exercise is utterly crucial to weight loss and the consequent benefits of energy and a happier life. We are just wired that way. But why is it so hard to find the time? Well, exercise takes discipline. (As does effective time management).

Hypnosis can help with self-discipline and kick-start your weight loss plan.

Hypnosis has been around a long time and there are lots of opinions about its effectiveness in a variety of behavior changes. But losing weight is a perfect example of how hypnosis can focus someone on the thing that makes other things happen – self discipline.

Distilling the arguments is beyond this articles scope. But take out any trance mumbo jumbo and talk about what most critics refer to as the power of suggestion. Its true! The power of suggestion works ” especially when it comes to learning the self discipline necessary to lose weight. That is the hypnotists big secret. Consider what happens during hypnosis. You are put into a deeply relaxed state. You retain control of your mind and are ready to hear the suggestions that will help you learn the self-discipline necessary to begin and continue the diet and exercise you need to lose weight. When you already know that, the hypnotists job is easy. When you are in very receptive state hearing suggestions that you know will help you carry on throughout the other parts of your life. That is because you remember ” consciously or unconsciously ” these suggestions that trigger the activity you desire which is curb your diet, exercise and lose weight.

So the payoff for hypnosis is self-discipline, lifestyle change (including diet and exercise) and a new energetic sexy you.

Relax. Focus. Listen to what you can do and then do it. That is how hypnosis helps you shed the extra weight.

Are You Overlooking These Simple Tips When Trying To Lose Weight?

People have their own reasons and motives in trying to lose weight. Perhaps it is for aesthetic reason, or maybe that people would like to boost their confidence by having a slim figure. All these reasons or motives do not matter so much. What matter really is how you go about your losing weight practices.

Here are some helpful tips:

1. Choose foods that are fibrous. Fiber retains the right amount of water in your intestines so that your digestive system would be working more efficiently. It helps in keeping a regular bowel movement.

2. Drink enough amount of water. Eight glasses of water a day is enough to maintain a healthy body. You sweat a lot during your exercise or workout so it is very good for you to replace the water you lose while exercising because dehydration may cause you big trouble.

3. Exercise regularly. There is a promising health benefit for anyone who exercise regularly. Even if you do not aim to lose weight, exercising is a way to a healthier life.

4. Sleep 8 hours a day. Our bodies need to rest and have at least eight hours of sleep every night. Don’t be trapped into the notion that sleeping less could slim you down. This is a myth and a very big mistake if you do try this with the rest of people who already did. Sleeping is actually both mental and physical rest. The body will be more efficient in burning fats when it has enough rest.

5. Stick to a method that suits you. If you think that your body feels good and is very well adjusting to your activities then you should continue. Pushing yourself too hard to an activity will only do you harm than good.

These tips could be very beneficial to anyone who is planning to undergo their chosen weight loss program. The success or failure of losing weight lies in the hands of the one doing it.

Here’s The Ideal Source of Foods That Speed Up Your Metabolism

April 22, 2009 by Dan Eitreim

Any diet that even comes close to being healthy, will tell you to eat plenty of vegetables. But what kind of vegetables should we be eating to get foods that speed up your metabolism?

To boost our metabolism, as part of a healthy, balanced dietmost any type of vegetable will do the job. But if you really want to see the weight start pouring off of you, you need to start considering calories.

Calories are easy to understand, if you think of them as energy.

Whenever you eat something, it doesn’t matter what it is, it will give your body calories. Whether it’s a stalk of celery or a candy bar, everything gives us calories. Our body has to do something with all these calories. It will burn them if it needs some energy. If no energy is needed, they get stored as fat.

We can’t cut back too much on calories since that would slow our metabolism. We’re looking for foods that speed up your metabolism, so we need to boost our calorie usage rather than cut back on intake. In other words, we need to find foods that speed up your metabolism but still don’t provide enough energy. That’s when we will see our fat beginning to disappear.

What if we could find a way to keep our metabolism chugging away – at full speed – and still not have enough energy? Then, our body would get the extra energy it needs from fat. (And we get skinny.)

Enter negative calorie foods.

Negative calorie foods are like an edible version of a jog around the park. You are still getting all the nutrients you need, your metabolism is still working at full speed and yet you still have a deficit of energy – which your body provides by burning fat calories.

Eating foods that speed up your metabolism – and make you lose weight at the same time – makes dieting a lot of fun. Wouldn’t you agree?

By now, you are probably wondering what negative calorie foods are?

All of our various bodily functions require energy. In other words you need a certain amount of calories just to digest food.

A negative calorie food is one that gives us a certain number of calories but burns more calories just in being digested. With negative calorie foods, in theory, you could eat all day and still lose weight.

Here’s an example. A typical piece of broccoli (that is about 100 grams) gives us about 25 calories when we eat it. However, it uses up about 80 calories just to digest. So you have a net loss of 55 calories every time you eat a piece of broccoli.

Good stuff, eh?

Here are a few vegetables that are negative calorie foods…

Garlic, asparagus, zucchini, green beans, Garden cress, beet root, turnip, lettuce, broccoli, spinach, onion, cabbage, radish, carrot, cucumber, cauliflower, celery, chicory, hot chili.

Plus, there’s a bunch more. Think about it, it would be scientifically and physically impossible not to lose weight if you were eating a negative calorie diet. To get a lot more information, check out my website.

10 Common Mistakes That Lead to Diet Sabotage

April 7, 2009 by Patrice M. Ruggieri

Have you ever been unintentionally sabotaged by a coworker, spouse or a complete stranger in the car next to you because they said or did something that upset you? You get upset, feel wounded and wonder why people can’t be nice. To feel better and soothe yourself you reach for the bag of M&Ms you swore you wouldn’t touch until you lost ten pounds. Welcome to emotional eating.

Stress, anger, anxiety, boredom, sadness, loneliness are all emotions that we tend to try to suppress or soothe. There are times that emotional eating includes emotions such as happiness. Experiencing excitement and getting caught up in the moment can also lead us to celebrate with food. Both positive and negative emotions have a way that an trigger us to respond by reaching for the M&M’s to either soothe a hurt or elevate an already happy moment.

Understanding Mood & Food

Did you know that certain foods have a seemingly addictive quality? When we eat certain foods such as chocolate, your body releases trace amounts of mood and satisfaction elevating hormones. Your body interprets this as a ‘reward’ and it may reinforce a preference for foods that are closely related with a certain feeling. Understanding this relationship can help us recognize when it is happening and have a plan in place to avoid it. Something as simple as leaving the room when we are upset or not having bad food in the office or house can be a great help. Doing something in place of eating can also re-program your response. Even how you think of eating the healthy food in place of the bad food can reprogram your response. To say ‘ I am stronger than a few words and I am not going to let it defeat me by eating unhealthy. I am going to show them by eating my best and looking my best’, is helpful. I know it sounds funny but it reinforces your desired efforts and results.

Food can also be a distraction. If you’re worried or anxious about something or are dealing with an unpleasant event [like your in-laws are coming for dinner], eating comfort foods may temporarily distract you. While you’re eating, your thoughts focus on the pleasant taste of your comfort food. Unfortunately, when you’re done overeating, your attention returns to your worries, and you may now feel the additional burden of guilt about overeating.

Knowing all of this can help you plan and make better choices. If you can recognize the feelings coming on you can shift them by doing something different to soothe or distract you. People with anxiety disorders use this type of distraction very successfully. Something as simple as a crossword puzzle, word search, cleaning or anything that changes your focus can be successful. It allows your body to take a break from the stress without sabotaging your weight loss efforts.

When we are upset, anxious and emotional it is hard to stop and think ‘what can I do to stop these feelings?’, “How can I distract myself?’ Having a few items in your head to turn too is a great help overcoming these emotional barriers.

Setting Up Support

Having a support system is vital to your weight loss success. Support helps you overcome those moments that can break your control and have you sneaking the donuts into your desk drawer at the office. Having someone to share and talk with really impacts your success. Today there are many places to get that support. Community websites, weight loss websites, friends, a weight loss buddy or even a coworker can be the voice of reason when you need it.

Instead of plunging head first into a bag of cheese puffs another option is to release your emotions and one way it can be accomplished by keeping a journal with you to write in when you feel the need to vent about someone or something. In addition, checking in at the end of the day with someone by phone or email is enough to keep you on track. Knowing that you will have someone to share your day with as well as the accountability factor is a great help. Being able to say that you handled the situation well verses you went to the drive through and had three happy meals, will build your self confidence each time you overcome the emotional urge to eat.

No Rules or Recognition

Sometimes you just need to make a nonnegotiable rule. Your rule can be nothing goes into my mouth without me thinking about why I am eating it, is it because of an emotion or hunger? ‘If I am emotionally eating I am going to eat a piece of fruit or small healthy snack or distract myself. Whatever your rule, stick with it without negotiations. Learn to recognize true hunger. Is your hunger physical or emotional? If you ate just a couple of hours ago and don’t have hunger pains, you’re probably not really hungry. Give the craving a few minutes to pass. The average craving lasts 5-15 minutes. You can handle that

What’s Your Trigger

It is hard to avoid something your are not consciously recognizing. If you don’t take time to identify what triggers you it is unlikely you will be able to put the breaks on it. For the next several days, write down what you eat, how much you eat, when you eat, how you’re feeling when you eat and how hungry you are. Over time, you may reveal negative eating patterns and triggers to avoid. Many people avoid this exercise and it is one of the most powerful tools to propel you forward.

Lack of Redirection

Redirection is used for many people with anxiety disorders. I personally have seen it work on my son who was diagnosed with severe Contamination Obsessive, Compulsive disorder. Redirection was something he was unknowingly doing to get through his anxiety, which at the time was classified at a 10 on a scale of 1-10 and he was not on medication to soothe him. If he can do it at a level 10 anxiety so can we when our lives for the moment overwhelm us to the point of wanting to reach for the Dorito’s. What he would do would be to zone out for few minutes if he felt anxious or uncomfortable. Similar to how we can feel when we get upset or anxious about something and turn to food. He would day dream, do a puzzle, Lego’s, take a walk [this helped tremendously], listen to music that he liked, wrote in a fantasy journal about anything other than his anxiety or discomfort, basically do anything that took him away for the moment until he could better handle it. He would just redirect his focus.

Look to see what other people do when they get upset rather than turn to food. Some people like to clean when they get upset [me] because you get immediate gratification from it [sounds like what you get from food when you eat it when your am upset], some just recognize the incident as a negative give themselves a time limit to be mad and then choose to release the anger [because it doesn't effect the person who made them mad and only hurts them if they hold on to it]. Have a list of quick rewards that don’t involve food handy so you don’t have to think doesn’t about what you should do you can just pick from the list. Splurge on you.

Keep it clean

Avoid having an abundance of high-calorie comfort foods in the house. Also don’t go food shopping when you feel hungry or blue, postpone the shopping trip for a few hours so that these feelings don’t influence your decisions at the store. Get rid of the unhealthy food. Many people tell me the food is there for their kids. My response is why? Why would you want to feed your kids unhealthy foods that will hurt them in the long run? Did you give them unhealthy formula when they were babies? They are still developing and they still need good food, even more than you do. So you need another excuse. No excuse is a good excuse, just get rid of it and replace it with healthy alternatives.

Not Eating a Balanced Diet

Try to eat at fairly regular times and don’t skip breakfast. Include foods from the basic groups in your meals. Go for the whole grains, vegetables and fruits, as well as low-fat dairy products and lean protein sources. When you fill up on the basics, you’re more likely to feel fuller, longer. If you’re not getting enough calories to meet your energy needs, you may be more likely to give in to emotional eating. Try eating a piece of fruit high in fiber like an apple before your meals. studies have shown people eat less during their meals.

Poor Choices for Snacking

Snacks are just as important as your meals. If you feel the urge to eat between meals, choose a low-fat, low-calorie food, such as fresh fruit, vegetables with fat-free dip or non buttered popcorn or test low-fat, lower calorie versions of your favorite foods to see if they satisfy your craving. Your snack should be between 100-200 calories or not much more so choose wisely.

Exercise & Rest

Choosing the right amount of exercise is equally important. Try to work towards 30 minutes a day and then increase to 45- 60 minutes if possible down the road. Remember you can break it up throughout your day. Try not to burn your candle at both ends. As hard as that can be some days it is very important to get enough rest. People who are tired have repeatedly shown in study after study that they consume more calories. Your mood is more manageable and your body can more effectively fight stress when it’s fit and well rested.

No Emotional Release

People do not factor in the emotional elements of their day and how it effects their decisions about food. Many times the emotion [i.e. anger] that we feel is a trigger that makes us turn to food for self soothing. We find our mind chatter telling us that, We deserve it because they did this to me, or because No one recognizes all the hard work I do. You are feeling frustrated at something or someone. We all have a right to get upset and no one should be treated badly. However, it is how we handle the anger that is important.

Learn to release the emotion, communicate your feelings so you can redirect the anger to be useful and not self sabotaging. [write in a journal or talk to a friend, wellness coach or online forum if you dont want to talk with the person who made you upset]. The important word here is learn. This change in behavior is something you need to be conscious about in order to effectively change it. Recognize the anger for what it is and how you are reacting to it. This change in behavior is something you need to be conscious about in order to effectively change it.

reinforce your success by learn to S.T.O.P [Step back, Take a deep breath, Oppose the urge to eat and Pat yourself on the back] and empower ourselves with what meets our long term needs as a whole and not feed an non serving emotion for the moment.

An Easy Way To Make Sure You Lose Weight Permanently!

March 5, 2009 by Frances Norah Smith

It is ridiculous how you can gain weight by odd means. This can be easily avoided if you plan your meals ahead of time. In this article I will show you how to do that!

See, if you don’t plan your meals ahead of time, you are more likely to eat junk foods and less likely to have healthy choices. On the other hand, if you make a plan of what you would be eating the following week or month, then it becomes easier to maintain a healthy diet.

People who don’t plan their meals ahead of time often end up gorging on something tasty; and often, that ‘tasty something’ turns out to be a calorie-rich junk food!

You are required to make a list of what you would be eating for your breakfast, lunch, dinner, and of course snacks. Make sure that you eat only low-calorie and low-fat foods! If you are going to eat out at a restaurant, ensure that you plan your food choices in advance by visiting the restaurant’s website. Most decent restaurants have their own websites where they display their menus, as well as point out which foods would be low on calorie and fat.

Just ask yourself – have you ever had the guts to say ‘No’ when you were invited to a delicious, non-veg dinner? Or do you ever turn down an offer of a boatload of cookies from your friend? I know how hard it is to turn down such tempting offers. But if you are serious about losing weight, the first thing that you need to do is to control your temptations and appetite!

The only way you can do it is by cooking a healthier alternative of the ‘tempting dinner’ at your home. An example is, if red meat is going to be served there, you can instead cook lean chicken meat at your home. Use minimal oil for cooking to make sure that the food remains low on calorie!

Eat one half of it during dinner and keep the other half for the following day!

Also, it is a good idea to keep yourself full at all times. Try to eat foods which are rich in fiber, as they are likely to keep you full for a long time. Natural fruits, vegetables, legumes, whole grains, low-fat yogurt, etc., are usually healthy choices for someone who is looking forward to losing some inches and pounds quickly! Even if you haven’t gained weight yet, making healthy food choices would make sure that you never gain even one pound of extra fat!

Does Milk Really Help You Lose Weight Quick?

February 28, 2009 by Frances Norah Smith
Filed under Weight Loss

So you think that milk is good for your body? If yes then you really need to read this article in its entirety. Far too many people believe like you, and I cannot blame anybody for this because dairy farmers are responsible for all these. They claim that milk will help strengthen your bones because of the presence of calcium in it. They also claim that milk will give you such energy boost that you will feel like a superman. Obviously, they want you to believe this way so that they can cash in on your gullibility. However, just as some other myths are doing the rounds of the weight loss industry, this is also a myth.

1. Believe it or not, the milk you purchase from your local store is not pure milk: it has been processed with the help of pasteurization, meaning that it has been boiled at a temperature of 160 centigrade and then cooled down. Milk is pasteurized in order to kill any and all the germs present in the raw milk. On the flip side, pasteurization not only kills the germs, but also the beneficial nutrients present in it. Enzymes such as lipase and phosphates can be a lot beneficial to your body, but you don’t benefit from those enzymes in the pasteurized milk that you purchase from your local shop.

That is not however the end of the story. Pasteurization also kills antibodies such as immunoglobulin that is present in raw milk. Immunoglobulin helps to immune your body against various diseases. As you can see, milk is in no way beneficial for you, at least not the one that comes in sealed packets.

After pasteurization is completed, the milk is homogenized to maintain the cream at the bottom. Once this process is done, several synthetic vitamins are added to it in order to make it ‘nutritious’. However, remember that synthetic vitamins are not and can never be substitutes for natural vitamins. They are man-made chemicals and will have more harmful effects to your body.

2. Milk causes weight gain: Contrary to what you might believe, milk will actually make you gain weight rather than lose it. If you are in the habit of drinking milk frequently, it is not surprising that you have become overweight. As you drink more and more milk, you will gain more and more weight.

3. Milk causes a host of other diseases: Besides weight gain, there are a lot of harmful side effects of drinking milk, such as acne, arthritis, skin allergies, cancer, constipation, etc.

So do you still think milk is good for you?

Can HCG Indeed Help You Lose Weight Quick?

February 27, 2009 by Frances Norah Smith
Filed under Weight Loss

The weight loss industry is filled with tons of fads, and each day, I see a new fad coming up. More unexpected than the rapid innovation of fads is how easily the common people are accepting these fads without even considering about possible setbacks. People hope to lose weight quickly with the help of these fad products, but if you ask me, I never believe in fads, and never will! In this article I will tell you about the latest weight loss fad called HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) and how far it can help you lose weight.

Firstly, if you are wondering that HCG is just another drug, you are dead wrong! It is just a hormone which is already present in the human body. The hormone is found in abundance in the body of pregnant women. This is the main reason why any woman who tests positive for it is definitely pregnant.

Many were unaware about the benefits of HCG on overweight people until a notorious author called Kevin Trudeau came up with a book that claimed that HCG can indeed help people lose weight. For those who don’t know, Kevin Trudeau has already spent a considerable amount of time in jail for several violations of FTC guidelines. While Kevin Trudeau claims that HCG is a miraculous hormone that can help weight loss better than any other weight loss supplement, there is no medical or scientific evidence that backs up this claim. Not even the manufacturers who produce a synthesized version of this hormone claim that it is beneficial for obese people. It is only a handful of doctors and experts who are claiming that they have proof of its effectiveness on overweight people.

For almost forty years, several tests and studies were done on HCG to prove the validity of these claims. A lot of research was done regarding the effectiveness of HCG on overweight people. No study or research done till date has been able to prove that HCG indeed helps one lose weight. So how can the doctors claim the opposite?

Well, in case you don’t know, if you opt for HCG treatment, doctors will also ask you to follow a low calorie diet. So whether it is the low calorie diet or the HCG hormone that is helping people to lose weight is still unclear. Last but not the least; HCG has been banned in the US long time ago. If you want to purchase synthetic HCG, you will need to purchase it either from the black market or import it from another country, both of which are uneconomical for you!

If you take my recommendation, I suggest that until the effectiveness of HCG is fully proven, you should just follow the old method of healthy food plan and exercises. Health food plan doesn’t mean that you will have to diet; just eat lost of raw vegetables and fruits, and drink lots of water, and make sure that you avoid the fatty and junk foods as much as possible! This is a definite technique to weight loss success.

5 Assured Tips to Weight Loss Success

February 26, 2009 by Frances Norah Smith
Filed under Weight Loss

There is no dearth of diet programs whether online or offline. Even if you limit your search to the World Wide Web only, you will still find an avalanche of diet programs. What is harder is finding a diet plan that would be ideal for your health, help you lose weight and not harm your body in any way. Believe me, finding the best weight loss program is like finding a pearl from the bottom of the ocean. But regardless of which diet program you chose, you will still need to follow the basics of dieting, otherwise you will never be able to lose weight. In this article, I will tell you about five basics of effective weight loss.

1. Metabolism is the key weight loss determinant: Always keep in mind that your body’s metabolic rate is what will determine how much weight you will be able to lose at a given point of time. When your metabolic rate is high, you are able to lose significant amount weight even while at rest; on the other hand, if your metabolic rate is slow, then you should find ways to increases it. One option to speed up your metabolism is to consume weight loss pills and supplements.

2. Regular exercises are a must: Regardless of how religiously you follow your diet, if you lie idle all day sitting on your couch and watching your favorite TV program, how can you expect to those flabby belly? You should exercise regularly and never skip even a single workout session! If you are afraid of high intensity exercises such as cardio and resistance training, you can start with lighter aerobics. Aerobics will help you burn as much fat as cardio. If you cannot do exercises at all, regular walking alone will help you burn fat.

3. Don’t lose it too quickly: I know that you are trying to lose weight and fit yourself into one of your old jeans or bikinis as fast as you can, but you should never attempt to lose weight too fast. Ideally you should lose no more than 1 or 2 pounds per week. If you lose more than that then it can affect your health negatively. If you think you are losing weight too fast, you should immediately visit a doctor.

4. Eat low fat foods only: I know that every weight loss expert has advised you the same thing, but allow me to emphasize that you should eat only those foods that have a low fat content. Eating fatty and junk foods will make your situation worse!

5. Work harder for hereditary obesity: Some people become overweight because of hereditary issues. If your parents were overweight then you are likely to be overweight as well. Also, people who suffer from hereditary obesity need to work doubly hard than others in order to lose weight. This doesn’t mean that you cannot lose weight at all; but you shouldn’t expect yourself to become ultra slim like others.
